Julius Caesar
When John Gregson left the cast, Joseph O’Conor (previously playing Julius Caesar) took on his role as Brutus. Emrys James took over as Julius Caesar but continued playing Octavius Caesar. Charles West took on the secondary roles previously played by O’Conor and James – Strato and Marullus.
The 14-week tour, beginning in Coventry and ending in Brighton, was played in repertoire with the current Old Vic production of THE TEMPEST.
