The Heiress
“There was an understandably warm reception for Peter Cushing when he made his entrance in THE HEIRESS at Basingstoke’s Haymarket. Mr Cushing, who had specially asked to play opposite Helen Ryan after seeing her performance as Queen Alexandra in ATV’s EDWARD THE SEVENTH, was making his first appearance in a stage play for ten years.” The Stage, 6th November 1975.
This was also Peter Cushing’s final appearance in a stage play.
