Shaun Hoey

I started singing in 1946 as a Church chorister in Westgate -on Sea, Kent. I have been a member of 6 Operatic Societies & performed in 47 shows over 40 years, with lead parts 31 times. Mostly G & S. Societies include Chatham Operatic; Bath Operatic; Keynsham Operatic; Helensburgh Savoy; Dumbarton Operatic & Helensburgh Operatic.

Parts have included Tenor Baritone leads including ‘patter’ parts. I currently (2012) sing 1^st tenor with Helensburgh Oratorio Choir & St. Michaels Church;Helensburgh. Helensburgh is 20 miles west of Glasgow Scotland.

Parts have included Ko Ko; Nanki Poo; Richard Dauntless; The Defendant; The Judge; Ralph Rackstraw; Strephon; Fairfax; (All G&S)
