David Tate
Trained at R.A.D.A. and was a leading man in repertory before making his West End debut in the Noel Coward musical “Sail Away” Since appeared in many London musicals including “How To Succeed” “man Of Magic” and “Little Me” in which he had a leading part and also deputised for Bruce Forsyth in the chameleon-like starring role involving eight different characterisations. Again with Bruce Forsyth in “Birds on the Wing”. He played the leading role of ‘Inspector Ingram’ in the radio series “Call Yourself A Detective”. A perfect mimic, his voice was heard in many cartoons and commercials. His uncle Reginald Tate was a West End star of the 1930’s.
