Montgomery Brown
b. Doncaster, 1940, emigrated to Canada at age 6 and then emigrated back to England in 1963.1964: summer season at the weekly rep. co. of Tynemouth Repertory in Tynemouth, Newcastle. Subsequently understudied at “Beyond the Fringe” at the Mayfair Theatre in London for one year and eventually worked at BBC-TV as an Asst. Floor Manager until 1971 and then moved to New York and became a country singer.
Mr Brown has been a musical educator with his wife Marsha, and a travelogue video maker for the last two decades of his working life. He has lived in Louisiana for 40 years and Florida since last summer. He has relatives in France, England, Ireland and lots of musical friends.
