IAN RIXON – Fings Aint what they used to be

Ian is no stranger to the Union Theatre having performed there previously in some great productions including Mike Leigh’s play Smelling a Rat, William Mastrosimone’s Extremities and Howard Barker’s Play The Love of a Good Man.

Ian is also a stand up comedian and was a finalist in ‘So You Think You’re Funny’ for Channel 5. He has appeared in film and on TV in numerous guises, most recently in BBC 1’s Casualty,

A keen film-maker and writer has led Ian to write several short films, he’s latest The Diary of Tommy Crisp won best comedy and Ian also won best actor in the finals of the Downtown New York film festival screened in May.

He is currently working on a new Sitcom with Rob Hitchmough called Cabbies
