Nicola Keen

In London, Nicola’s recent work as an actress includes Tea with Joyce Grenfell (Old Sorting Office, Barnes) and Fenton Gray Presents (Above the Stag). Current work includes: Cocktails with Joyce Grenfell and Love etc (Ripon International Festival); lyrics for Basil Brush Unleashed (Edinburgh Festival) and A Viennese Christmas Gala (British Philharmonic Concert Orchestra); and choreography for the UK Tour of An Evening of Eric & Ern. In 2018 her BBC 2 show Inside No.9 (Choreographer) won two BAFTA Awards for its creators and stars Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith and is currently available on Netflix.

West End theatre includes: Agnes in Guys and Dolls (Piccadilly, Olivier Award for Best Musical); original cast of The Phantom of the Opera (Her Majesty’s, Olivier Award for Best Musical); White Cat in Cats (New London); Reuben’s Wife in Joseph (London Palladium); the Baker’s Wife in The Hunting of the Snark (Prince Edward); and Die Fledermaus (Royal Opera House). For the National Theatre, she played Vivian in Oklahoma! (Olivier & Lyceum, Olivier Award for Best Musical); and for the RSC, The Shakespeare Revue (UK Tour). Here We Go Again (Universal Pictures); a new British feature film Angels in the Asylum directed by Rob Sorrenti​​​; Sound of Music Live (ITV); The Basil Brush Show (BBC); The Singing Detective (BBC); and Fire and Ice with Torvill & Dean (LWT). Radio includes Helen in Half A Sixpence and Dolly in Bitter Sweet (BBC Radio 2). ​
