The Ghost Train Doesn’t Stop Here Any More
“Five people dressed as famous monsters board a party train for an exclusive, invitation-only ride to an unknown destination. Their hostess, Dr Myra Lark, encourages them to tell stories of monsters – the monsters they’ve heard of, the monsters they’ve met, the monsters they are.” Bad Bat publicity, 2016.
A portmanteau of six short plays – THE DEVIL’S CHILDREN by Christopher Fowler, CHEEKY BOY by Stephen Gallagher, #GODDESS by Lynda E Rucker, DEAD SCOTSMEN by Robert Shearman, THE GREEN REST by Lisa Tuttle and FRANKENSTEIN ON ICE by Kim Newman. Framing story written by Sean Hogan.
An earlier portmanteau from the same team, THE HALLOWE’EN SESSIONS [qv], was performed at the Leicester Square Theatre, London in 2012.
