Doom Windows
Drama about a titled scientist drugging his dinner guests, who then see themselves as they ought to be – hence all the characters, bar the scientist and his butler, were played by two actors each.
Eric Adeney, hospitalised with blood poisoning directly after the first performance, was replaced by Michael Ripper for the remainder of the run. (‘Actor taken ill in Leeds’, Yorkshire Post 1st April 1936, page 7.)
