Frank Trafford

Frank Trafford was member of The Rhythm Brothers singing trio, along with his brother Jack Trafford and Clive Erard. They performed on radio and stage in the 1930s until thee early days of the war, and then again for a short time after the war.They sang as The Rhythm Brothers with Ambrose and His Orchestra for many years and also with other bands, with various aliases, including The Three Tees and the Manhattan Trio. Frank and Clive Erard also wrote songs together, including “Oh They’re Tough Mighty Tough in the West”. There stage work included “Under Your Hat” with Jack Hulbert and and Bobby Howes.

Frank married Trixie Marsh in 1938 and they had a daughter, Frances. He served in the London Welsh Regiment during World War Two and died in 1956 from multiple sclerosis.
