Observations
-
Marius Goring (at the age of 20) had to step in to play Macbeth for three performances when the star Malcolm Keen hurt his leg and had to leave the cast. Then Alistair Sim (Malcolm) took over for only one performance as Macbeth before he came down with severe influenza. John Laurie had to be drafted in to take the role over from Marius for the rest of the run.
