Edward Yardley

Born in Harrogate, he is the son of former England and Yorkshire Cricket captain, Norman Yardley. Educated at at Scarborough College and Durham University . Early career was as a stage manger at various UK theatres commencing at the Crucible in his home town of Sheffield. Moved to London working at the Royal Court; Lyric , Hammersmith and Royal Shakespeare Company at the Barbican.

Today retired from full time employment and living in the Peak District , Edward has written two books on British artists* and is a free lance art exhibition organiser
