with the first war of the roses and all the plays on, due to the quarter centenery profusion of productions.
took part in various (awful ) translations into French!!

- To Royal Shakespeare Company production of The Forest, by Alexander Ostrovsky, Aldwych Theatre, London, 12th February 1982 (press night): “that was a lovely production. Allan Howard had an erristible way of sitting on a bench with flying coat tails”
- To Royal Shakespeare Company production of The Beggar's Opera, by John Gay, Aldwych Theatre, London, 16th July - 29th October 1963: “The aldwych had this on summer of 63? I love it. The set was absolutely wonderfull. There were crates all over the thames embankment, in the end the deported gathered to gether and the crates turned into a superb sailing ship. ”
