Last five observations
- To production of Nippy, by Frank Eyton, Billy Mayerl, Austin Melford, and Arthur Wimperis, Prince's Theatre, Bristol, 1931 - 1932: “This Production also appears at the Theatre Royal in Hanley from October 26th 1931 Featuring Alan W Fearn as The Manager, Greta drudge as Miss Mactavish, Eric Coxon as The Right hon Anthony Cheshire, Cecil Brierley as Police Sargeant, Barbara Weale as Miss Massigham, Albert h Grant as Albert Crumpet, Helen Cooney as Nippy Grey, Fred Kitchener Jnr as Bob Dering, Frank Wilson as Sir William dering and Madge Haines as Mrs Grey. So the cast can be safely assumed to be playing the same roles. ”
- To production of Aladdin, by Stanley Sher, Theatre Royal and Opera House, Wakefield, December 1987 - January 1988: “Although I did about 6 almost consecutive Pantomimes at Wakefield this particular year I was sent down to the Princes Hall in Aldershot, but managed to get up to Wakefield to see a show. Arthur English had sadly become too ill too perform very early in the run and consequently a lot of the focus was switched to the other star morning TV cookery star Rustie Lee in the usually much smaller part of Slave of the Ring.”
