Jan opens this cruise on Minerva with a delightful entertainment which looks at the Art of the Aria. This sparkling evening of voice and piano includes some of the most thrilling, lyrical and popular soprano arias of all time including: Puccini’s ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’; Gilbert and Sullivan’s ‘The Sun Whose Rays’; Bizet’s ‘Habanera’; and Mozart’s ‘Dove Sono‘; plus well-know, recent favourites such as Ennio Morricone’s ‘Nella Fantasia’ and the beautiful ‘Time To Say Goodbye‘. The show is peppered with wonderfully funny personal anecdotes and surprising stories about the composers and their operas
