Adapted by Ian Cullen from Catherine Arley’s 1954 novel LA FEMME DE PAILLE (filmed in 1963 with Sean Connery, Gina Lollobrigida and Ralph Richardson).
This production’s UK dates were followed by a five-city tour of South America.
Reportedly, this was the first time a commercial company received a ‘presented by’ credit on a theatre production.
