Fare Play

Food and wine were prepared on stage and sampled by the audience. As well as touring the country, the production was presented on a three-performances-per-day basis at the Ideal Home Exhibition in London (March 1959) and Edinburgh (October-November 1959).
Ken Haward and Rosemary Murray moved on to a sequel, FARE AND WARM, demonstrating gas appliances in a dramatic context. (See ‘Gas Board Comedy at City Hall’, West Briton and Cornwall Advertiser 23rd November 1959, page 2.)
