The Dragon Variation
The same cast toured this play from September to November 1972. A second tour, from February to April 1973, replaced Alfred Lynch with Ray Barrett.

Three days before opening he discovered there was a real journalist called Douglas Blake. Not a bad sport, as it turns out, for the real Blake has promised not to sue. He has free seats for the show. Blake went on to review the five-years-later West End production for The Stage (13th October 1977, page 17).
