My Brilliant Divorce
When Angela Lipsky’s husband Max has a mid-life crisis and departs to lustful younger pastures, she finds herself adrift in a sea of shifty solicitors, a disapproving mother, and a series of helpline counsellors. Can she survive Christmas on her own? Will she miss Max on her exotic holiday for singles? And most of all, can she rediscover true happiness? Bizarre dates, suspect purchases, a near reconciliation with the ex – then a weekend in the Welsh Hills brings about a surprise meeting and maybe some hope.
