Play description
This two-hander, set in 1912, focuses on a professional fraud who, posing as a gentlemanly diplomat, homes in on vulnerable middle-aged spinsters and parts them from their savings via a quickie spurious wedding followed (for honour’s sake, as a quid pro quo) by a quickie divorce.
