Brasil Tropical
Brasil Tropical at Sadlers Wells Theatre in 1976 was “the first time that people in the UK really heard samba”. It came back in 1979 to play in the theatre at Drury Lane. Brasil Tropical aimed to get as many Brazilians as could be found who were good drummers to recruit them for the show.
