This production originally opened at the Sheffield Playhouse in 1966 and was revived again at the Playhouse before opening at The Crucible in 1973. It was commissioned by the Artistic Director, Colin George, who was a mentor of mine at that time. I still have a copy of the script, music, and soundtrack from the 1973 production.
