The Prisoners of War
This specific production does not yet have a description, but the play itself does:
J R Ackerley’s 1925 play about British troops in the First World War, interned in a hotel in the Swiss Alps. Described by Nicholas de Jongh as “the first 20th century play produced upon the London or Broadway stage to deal with homosexual desire, a desire that animated the entire action.”
