West End debut of Linda Hayden.
In April 1978, after a year in the West End, the play’s title – apparently deemed misleadingly salacious by ticket agencies – was changed to SIX OF ONE. (‘SEXTET renames itself – and makes history’, The Stage 20th April 1978, page 10.)

This play was retitled SIX OF ONE part-way through its West End run. SEXTET was restored subsequently, and a 1982 revival bore yet another title – GIVE US A CREW (qv).
