Kill 2 Birds
Having received a ticket guarantee of £20,000 from combined London ticket agents, this production was expected to run till Easter 1963 or beyond. (‘Chit Chat’, The Stage 8th November 1962, page 10.) In the event, it was withdrawn in January on its 100th performance, “after fighting a losing battle against the bad weather”. (‘Kill Two Birds’, The Stage 31st January 1963, page 15.)
