Trial by Jury by W S Gilbert and Arthur Sullivan
During the 1993 BOC Covent Garden Festival Bow Street Magistrates’ Court became the first British Court to open its doors and its dock to a theatrical production with Gilbert and Sullivan’s classic Trial by Jury. The popularity of this production which exploits the ideal setting of this famous courtroom continued to increase, and in 1997, the Festival presented a record 31 performances in the dock.
