Hi Tony. Thank you for putting this Piccadilly Alibi play on the site as you have solved a problem for me. I collect theatre items on John Inman and he returned to a professional life in theatre in 1957 but I did not know if he was working there in 1958. I recognise some of the names of other actors in the play and I clicked on to Peter John which took me to a production of Goldilocks at Sheffield Lyceum 1958/9 with Peter Butterworth which John said was his first taste of a professional pantomime. He worked backstage in stage management,made some costumes for Peter and I think he went stage to get the shaving foam pie in the face! The start of a great professional pantomime career that lasted till 2004.
