I Do, I Do!
Lucia Victor’s credit at Oxford – ‘Re-staged by’ – had been changed to ‘Assistant to the Director’ by the time this show reached Brighton.
Because Anne Rogers had burst a blood vessel, Maureen Hartley took over as SHE in the last week of May and first week of June. (See The Stage 30th May 1968 page 17 / 6th June 1968 page 15.)
Scenes from Act I were broadcast on BBC One at 8.00pm on Friday 16th August, ‘directed for television’ by Mary Evans.
