Death on Demand
Later presented in the West End as THE PAY-OFF (qv), this play had toured in 1972 as DEATH ON DEMAND (qv). This 1973 tour alternated between the titles MURDER BY NUMBERS (at, for example, Wolverhampton) and, as before, DEATH ON DEMAND (for the two-week Coventry run, among others). Tour listings in The Stage, however, called it MURDER BY NUMBERS throughout.
