Queen Mary Theatre Company present ‘The Newsroom’ written by Simon Haithwaite. The play explores the pressures involved with journalism. Always striving to grab the best story and break the story first in an immensely competitive environment. ‘The Newsroom’ investigates the stresses and strains this puts on relationships within the workplace whilst exploring the morality and humility of the characters. How far would you go to save your job? If you made the news you could break it first, but at what cost? Queen Mary Theatre Company are an experienced student-run troupe with 16 years Edinburgh Fringe experience.
