KW:ark/Lifesource

Collaborations Dance debuts in Edinburgh with ‘KW:ark/Lifesource’, a dual program of dance. ‘KW:ark’ contrasts the rigid, sharp and unyielding framework of a building site with the fluid motions of dance. ‘Lifesource’ navigates the fine line between life perpetuation and annihilation. The dancers wield an array of techniques to explore social norms and ask what is acceptable in public space. The use of scaffolding represents social and physical construction. Melding film and live performance, the presentation questions where preservation stops and destruction begins. www.ladanceschool.co.uk.
