Airswimming

Two moral imbeciles, one peroxide blonde wig, Doris Day and a curious take on synchronised swimming combine in this delightful, moving and entertaining play by Charlotte Jones. Persephone and Dora are imprisoned in St Dympha’s hospital for the criminally insane. In the stark, unforgiving landscape of the asylum, the two women find ways to survive the madness. They create a world of imagination that jumbles their histories and fantasies, their reality with the make believe of what might have been.
