Secret Garden

Popular family story of an orphaned young girl, Mary Lennox, who discovers an overgrown secret garden at her gloomy uncle’s house. Still mourning the loss of his wife, Mary is left alone. However, with her newfound friends, Martha, a maid at her uncle’s house and Colin, her sickly cousin, Mary brings the garden back to life. Colin demands to see it and it changes their lives forever. Based on the classic novel by Hodgson Burnett, with Lucy Simon’s lyrical and shimmering music and performed by the cast who won the National Operatic Association ‘Norfolk best production’ award 2009.
