First professional performance of Dylan Thomas’ abandoned screenplay about Dr Knox and Burke & Hare. In this adaptation, Thomas’ characters (Rock, Fallon, Broom, Billy Bedlam, Jenny Bailey etc) were given their historical names (Knox, Burke, Hare, Daft Jamie, Mary Paterson etc).
