Footnote theatre presents the world première of an award-winning new play by Abhishek Majumdar. In this compelling and touching solo piece about family life in an Indian railway colony, spirited narrator Rukhsar takes us on a journey through her childhood memories, introducing us to her eccentric relatives, acting out scenes and offering hilarious insights along the way. Set against the backdrop of the Gulf War, family history and global history powerfully intertwine. Combining music, mime, mimicry and monologue, this energetic and captivating show is a rare gem not to be missed.
