Fragility of X

A new play directed by John Wright (co-founder Told By An Idiot). When a woman and her autistic teenage son reach breaking point, they set off on an extraordinary journey. Bursting with the ambivalent and chaotic feelings of a parent/child relationship and underscored with a theatrical style that relishes treating the darkest of material with the lightest of touch. A funny, bleak yet strangely life-affirming production about boundaries, freedom, relationships and art. Unblinkingly unsentimental, funny, alarming and provocative. Created in association with The Studio Royal Exchange Theatre, supported by 3-sixty and Arts Council England.
