Bang Bang You’re Dead

First developed by writer William Mastrosimone, then by Thurston High School Theatre director and current Red Chair Players West director, Michael Fisher, in the wake of the 1998 Springfield, Oregon shooting,’Bang Bang You’re Dead’ became a world-wide phenomenon in 1999 in the fight against school violence. Since then, the play has been performed around the world, translated into multiple languages, and inspired a multi-Emmy-winning Showtime film. Mastrosimone and Fisher return to Edinburgh with a new version, that updates the plot to address bullying, and reawakens the urgency to never become complacent.
