The Cabinet Mole

Director-producer Charles Ross died, aged 56, shortly after this tour ended, on 8th July 1985.

“It isn’t until you see a play like THE CABINET MOLE that you realise just how difficult it must be for actors to find good parts … To put it bluntly, THE CABINET MOLE is one of the least funny comedies to hit the stage in a long time.” Ian Tasker (Hammersmith & Shepherds Bush Gazette, 15th March 1985, page 20)

“The show runs for less than two hours and … is still about ninety minutes too long. It has seven characters of which only two are worth acting at all.” – Peter Spalding (The Stage, 28th March 1985, page 16)
