The Boy Who Grew Flowers

The Door

Rink comes from an unusual family with unusual qualities but Rink is the most unusual of them all. Whenever the moon is full, beautiful flowers sprout all over his body.

At school, Rink keeps to himself until one day a new girl arrives, who has one leg shorter than the other and loves dancing.

Adapted from Jen Wojtowicz’s book, this magical play encourages children to appreciate difference, and gives reassurance to anyone who has ever felt out of place.
