Play description
Inspired by Hans Christian Anderson’s story The Red Shoes, this play uses dance, music, visual imagery and text to explore the inner mind of a child displaced by war in Eastern Europe. A white room, a shattered wall, a doctor striving to help a young girl make sense of her traumatic experience.
