Quaternary

A play by

“A trip to Iceland, moments of epiphany, the soundscape of a dying glacier. Milton’s Paradise Lost inspires a powerful and sensorial piece of theatre, as soundscapes and vocalizations melt into a contempory evocation of Hell, the Son of Man, Adam in Eden, Satan and God. A festival debut by St. Paul’s Boys School.

Quaternary was commissioned to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the founding of St. Paul’s School and Milton’s 400th (Milton was a Pauline). It was devised and directed by Zachary Dunbar (Artistic Director, Zeb Fontaine).”
