The Magic Toyshop
This specific production does not yet have a description, but the play itself does:
An adaptation of Angela Carter’s novel.
“The summer she was fifteen, Melanie discovered she was made of flesh and blood. At midnight, Melanie climbs the apple tree in her garden, wearing her mother’s wedding dress. The next morning her parents are dead and her life changed forever.
”Wrenched from the comfort of childhood into an adult world, Melanie is forced to confront the seductive menace of The Magic Toyshop."
