The Generation Gap

Reg a grumpy octogenarian is rude to his carer and drives his long-suffering grandson potty. But it’s only when he appears on a TV quiz show that we realise what has made him so fiercely independent.

A heart-warming and totally non-patronising study of old age and loneliness, both touching and comical, made more so because Reg is a near life-size hand puppet, manipulated by the two performers, who play all the other characters. A delightful, touching and funny piece about age, youth, grief, loss and ageing…
it’s theatre and puppetry for grown-ups… of any age!

Age range: 12+
