“Cannock Chase Drama Society present Jack and the Beanstalk. This sparkling new version of the well-known story is by Alan Frayn from Stafford, who wrote last year’s very successful “Cinderella”. It is packed with novel ideas and new comedy, keeping children involved. Abundant audience participation, visual comedy and traditional pantomime fun are also included, together with two havoc-prone Broker’s men, Snatchet and Scarper. There is also a show-stopping ultra-violet scene as the magic begins to work in the garden.”
