The Dumb Waiter

First performed in 1960, Harold Pinter’s darkest comedy the ‘Dumb Waiter’ is a hilarious work from one of the 20th century’s most popular playwrights. Centred around two hit men, Gus and Ben, waiting for their next job; little realising who the next hit is. This is the debut production from Fresh Motion Theatre; an ensemble of talented final year students from Lancaster. ‘You come into a place when it’s still dark, you come into a room you’ve never seen before, you sleep all day, you do your job and then you go away in the night again.’
