Observations

Cecily Hamilton’s Biog says that the play “The Human Factor” was released in 1925 and so I’m not sure about it being performed at The Birmingham Rep in 1924

I’ve found a few sources backing this up:
“British Playwrights, 1880–1956: A Research and Production Sourcebook” has the following: “The Human Factor. 1924. Opened at the Repertory Theatre (Birmingham) on 8 November; produced and directed by Barry V. Jackson as The Old Adam at the Kingsway Theatre (London) from 17 November 1925 to 16 January 1926 (67 performances).”
https://lucienneboyce.com/a-savage-end/ has “[…]and a play, The Old Adam, which had its first performance (as The Human Factor) at Birmingham Repertory Theatre in 1924, and later played at Kingsway, London”.
And “The Old Adam” book on Google Books – https://books.google.co.uk/books?redir_esc=y&id=6fchxgEACAAJ&focus=searchwithinvolume&q=birmingham – says “First played at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, November, 1924”.
I think the name change might have confused things :)
