Bloody Poetry

The play opens with Mary Shelley and Claire Clairmont on their bumpy way to Europe in 1816. During the next six years they live
unconventional, anarchic lives in Switzerland and Italy with the poets Byron and Shelley. Watching them and commenting is Doctor Polidori, whose observations keep the audience abreast of their wild excesses.
