The Business of Murder
In the original Windsor cast list, just three actors – George Sewell, Francis Matthews and Lynette Davies – were mentioned, together with the character names Hallett, Stone, Dee, Helen, Clive and Spiros, but no indication of who played what.
The two supplementary actors listed as Helen and Spiros for the West End and (later) touring production didn’t actually appear in the play.
Richard Harris’ original two-part television drama – with Martin Jarvis as Stone, Gareth Hunt as Hallett and Judy Loe as Dee – was screened on 22nd February and 1st March 1981.
