The Black Box
Devised by Theatrebloc and based around the theme of the desert island, The Black Box used a combination of original material and extracts from plays, novels, poetry and non-fiction in a montage treatment evoking the subject to strong theatrical effect. The auditorium was transformed into an environment for this production with seating created out of sandbags and hessian covered rostra. Designed by Eleanor Draper.
