Sweeney Todd
Stephen Sondheim’s musical thriller staged in the dayroom of Mister Fogg’s asylum, performed by inmates on a stormy night under the direction of madcap magicians. Students from the performing arts conservatory of Detroit Country Day School under the direction of Jeffrey Michael Nahan have crafted a unique version of this classic. Musical direction by Jim Territo, vocal direction by Ronald R. Weiler II, associate stage direction by Theresa Weiler, technical direction by Jim Davis and a chamber instrumental ensemble of students and faculty deliver this chilling tale with power.
